What is St Elizabeth Hospice?
St Elizabeth Hospice is a Suffolk-based charity providing free specialist palliative care to adults living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses. It serves communities across East and Mid-Suffolk, as well as Great Yarmouth and Waveney. Around 70% of its funding comes from the local community, with the remainder commissioned by the NHS. Every year, the hospice supports over 4,000 patients and their families.
St Elizabeth Hospice Charity Shops
St Elizabeth Hospice runs a network of charity shops across Suffolk and South Norfolk under several banners, including its main St Elizabeth Hospice shops, Zest in Ipswich (which supports its young adult service), and St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice shops in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area. The shops sell a mix of donated and new goods, including everyday items for the home and family, clothing, accessories, and the occasional one-off find. The hospice also runs Moments Coffee Shops in Ipswich and Stowmarket, and has a furniture collection service available free of charge across Suffolk, Norfolk, and into Essex.
