If you love antiques, vintage finds, and one-of-a-kind treasures, Bygone Times is a must-visit destination. Spanning an incredible 85,000 square feet across five floors, with more than 500 stalls, it’s a fascinating day out for collectors, bargain hunters, and anyone who enjoys exploring unique pieces from the past.

Located in Eccleston, Chorley, just on the outskirts of Manchester, Bygone Times is easy to reach - just 10 minutes from Junction 27 of the M6. With free on-site parking, it’s convenient whether you’re making a quick visit or planning to spend the whole day browsing.

Opening Hours & Entry


Bygone Times is open seven days a week, 9:30am - 5:00pm. First-time visitors need to purchase a membership card on arrival, priced at £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for over-60s. Once you have your membership, you can return as often as you like. Please note that dogs are not allowed, with the exception of assistance dogs.

What You’ll Find at Bygone Times


The sheer variety on offer makes Bygone Times truly special. From antiques and collectables to retro vinyls and vintage pieces, the stalls are filled with items to suit every taste and budget. You’ll discover everything from furniture, jewellery, and artwork to quirky gems you never knew you needed.


There’s also a small outdoor area, perfect for garden lovers, with stalls selling plants and outdoor decorations. For history enthusiasts, Bygone Times even houses a small War Museum, adding an educational twist to your visit.

Taking a Break From Your Vintage Shopping Stroll


Exploring five floors of treasures can be tiring, so it’s handy that Bygone Times has its own café, open from 9:30am - 4:00pm, serving light meals, snacks, and drinks. It’s the perfect spot to recharge before diving back into the stalls.
