FARA

FARA is a UK-based charity supporting disadvantaged children and young people in Romania, particularly those affected by poverty, disability and social exclusion. Its work focuses on education, therapy, family support and advocacy to help vulnerable children reach their full potential.

While its programmes are delivered in Romania, FARA raises most of its funds in the United Kingdom, relying heavily on public donations and retail income to sustain its projects overseas.

FARA Charity Shops

FARA operates a network of charity shops mainly in London and the South East of England. These shops sell donated second-hand clothing, books, accessories and homewares, with proceeds funding education and care programmes for children and young people in Romania.
