Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 that celebrates the environmental movement, environmental protection and awareness. This year, we're joining forces with the Global Returns Project, a charity registered in England and Wales on a mission to democratize climate philanthropy. Their mission for Earth Day? Raise £150,000 to support 6 of the world's leading climate charities on their mission to address climate change.
The Global Returns Project is a UK-based charity that makes high-impact climate philanthropy easy for individuals, financial institutions, and businesses. They research and select a diverse portfolio of the world's highest-impact climate mitigation charities. The Global Returns Project has developed a proprietary methodology and works with a team of world-class climate scientists to assess these organizations. Donors who contribute to the Global Returns Portfolio support effective, scalable climate nonprofits working on solutions like clean energy, forest conservation, and food system reform. Every six months, the Global Returns Project provides donors with exclusive impact reports detailing the progress and success of the portfolio charities.
